The Florida State Council is one of the most active VVA state councils in terms of membership recruitment. In the last year Florida has ranked No. 1 in membership growth nine times. The AVVA has been tops in membership growth seven times.
Currently, the Florida State Council has 6,044 members to rank second nationally behind New York's 6,326. Florida's AVVA is second with 892 members, placing them behind California's 898.
The Villages Chapter 1036 is the No. 1 VVA chapter in the nation with 1,018 members, according to the March Membership Affairs Committee report. Chapter 1048 in Daytona Beach is 14th nationally with 450 members.
The VVA now has 92,626 members and the AVVA has 11,377.
